We are committed to complying with the obligations, standards of conduct, and behaviors set forth in the Code of Conduct.
7.1 AS DESC EMPLOYEES

- We comply with the Code of Conduct and the Group’s internal policies.
- We seek guidance and/or advice in a timely manner whenever we are uncertain whether a decision is ethical or lawful.
- We promptly report to our immediate supervisor, the Feedback and Transparency Hotline, and the Human Capital and Internal Audit Departments any activity that, in our opinion, constitutes a violation of the Code of Conduct or of applicable legal provisions.
- We cooperate with DESC representatives in internal investigations.
7.2
AS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, MANAGERS, AND SUPERVISORS OF DESC, WITHIN THE SCOPE OF OUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- We act with integrity and inspire trust. We lead by example, both in our words and in our actions.
- We promote open and honest communication with employees, encouraging them to raise questions and concerns regarding ethical issues and informing them of their resolution.
- We encourage employees to seek guidance and report potential violations, assuring them that they will not be subject to retaliation.
- We report any unlawful or unethical conduct and promptly adopt the most appropriate measures in accordance with this Code of Conduct.
- We ensure that employees receive the training and information necessary regarding the policies and operating procedures applicable to their respective positions and responsibilities.
- We act with intellectual honesty and report any circumstance in which compliance may be particularly difficult to achieve.
- We certify that the processes under our responsibility are governed by current policies and procedures.
- The Conduct Committee, as the highest independent and multidisciplinary governing body, is responsible for overseeing, advising, and ensuring that actions, investigations, and decisions handled through institutional reporting mechanisms comply with ethical principles, applicable regulations, and human rights standards.
7.3 SANCtions
Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary measures ranging from a warning, a written disciplinary record, the reduction or permanent cancellation of incentives, termination of the employment, commercial, or contractual relationship, and, where applicable, civil, criminal, or any other sanctions provided under the applicable law.
Such sanctions shall be determined based on the seriousness of the violation, its consequences, and any repeated misconduct. Violations of this Code include, among others:
- Violating any provision of this Code or requesting or encouraging another person to do so.
- Refusing to cooperate or providing false information during investigations conducted by DESC representatives.
- Retaliating against any person who has reported an actual or suspected violation.
- Using the institutional reporting channels to send insults, offensive language, or inappropriate or suggestive remarks.
- Sending messages of a political or religious nature.
- Engaging in any act of physical aggression against employees, suppliers, customers, or third parties, whether on or off company premises or while acting on behalf of DESC’s businesses.
